The Museum of Russian Art promotes understanding of the art, people, and culture of Muscovite Russia, the Russian Empire, and the former republics of the Soviet Union through outstanding exhibitions, cultural presentations, and educational programs serving the people of Minnesota and the nation. Volunteering is a great way to experience everything the Museum has to offer.

Volunteering Benefits
In exchange for their donation of expertise and time, TMORA volunteers receive museum benefits. These benefits are given after four volunteer shifts at the desk or store, or upon giving your first tour. Benefits include but are not limited to:

- 10% Discount at the TMORA Museum Shop
- Free and/or reduced rates to special events
- Complimentary passes for friends and family
Reception Desk
Provide first level phone coverage for in-bound calls. Greet visitors and collect admission fees as appropriate. Offer general information, membership information, and exhibition brochures. Provide general directions throughout the Museum. Field questions regarding the art, building, etc.
Museum Guide
Serve as knowledgeable host to scheduled groups of museum visitors of all ages. Share your knowledge of art, history, and culture as reflected in specific exhibitions on display. Specific training provided.
