MUSEUM ADMISSION ACCESS PROGRAMS

Recognizing that museums and cultural institutions come with a complex mix of barriers to audience participation, TMORA has multiple access programs to deepen engagement and build community.

FREE NIGHTS AT TMORA

As part of our commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, The Museum of Russian Art offers Free Nights four times a year—once every season. These special evenings provide an opportunity for everyone in our community to enjoy TMORA’s exhibitions and galleries free of charge.

Free Nights are held quarterly, with dates carefully selected to align with the Museum’s changing exhibitions. Check our Events Calendar for upcoming Free Night dates and details.

GETTING TO THE MUSEUM

Transportation

  • For Metro Mobility and rideshare passengers, there is a loading zone with a curb cutout on Diamond Lake Road and sidewalk access points on Stevens Avenue.
  • TMORA features an accessibility drop-off and ramp on the northwest side of the building on Diamond Lake Road.  This drop-off site leads directly to the ramp that leads to the main doors of the Museum.  An additional accessibility location is located on Stevens Avenue, on the east side of the building, where parking is also available.
  • The Museum is located near the Diamond Lake Road and Stevens Avenue bus stop.

Parking

  • Free parking is available directly across the street (Diamond Lake Road).  This is the Mayflower Church parking lot and is shared with the Museum.
