Join TMORA staff and fellow book lovers in the galleries on the second Tuesday of the month as we read and discuss contemporary literature with a connection to Russia. This month, we’ll read Polina Barskova’s Living Pictures, a genre-hopping collection of short stories by an author who’s also a scholar of the siege of Leningrad. Discussion will be facilitated by Museum Learning Manager Dr. Kelly McKay. Purchase a copy of the book from one of the Twin Cities’ many fabulous independent bookstores, borrow the book or ebook from the public library, or listen to the audiobook online. Participation is free with the purchase of gallery admission (which is always free for TMORA members). Register in advance, and plan to come early or stay late to see our current exhibitions!
