Join TMORA staff and fellow book lovers in the galleries on the second Tuesday of the month as we read and discuss contemporary novels with a connection to Russia. This month, we’ll read Guzel Yakhina’s Zuleikha, inspired by her grandmother’s childhood memories of being exiled to the Gulag. Discussion will be facilitated by Museum Learning Manager Dr. Kelly McKay. Purchase a copy of the book from the TMORA shop, borrow the book or ebook from the public library, listen to the audiobook online, or support one of the Twin Cities’ many fabulous independent bookstores. Participation is free with the purchase of gallery admission (which is always free for TMORA members). Register in advance, and plan to come early or stay late to see our current exhibitions!
