SOLD OUT Beginning Russian Language Classes at TMORA

The Museum of Russian Art presents our first series of beginning Russian language classes, taught by Elena Epshteyn.
Beginner’s level starts with learning the Russian alphabet, phonetics and developing basic reading skills. The class will provide the knowledge of basic grammar patterns and vocabulary, covering essential aspects of everyday life, such as meeting people, getting around the city, shopping, visiting restaurants, using transportation, expressing intentions, speaking by phone, and communicating in social media. The course will enable students to communicate and be understood in a variety of situations.
Beginner’s Level Russian will consist of 10 classes on Saturday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., March 7 – May 9. The class will be from 4 – 8 participants.
Tuition: $300 for Non-Members, $270 for TMORA Members.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Elena Epshteyn was born in the USSR and graduated from the Belarusian State University with a degree in Russian Language and Literature. After she moved to the US, she taught at North Hennepin Community College, the Russian school Klassika, as well as privately. Besides focusing on Russian grammar, she emphasizes the importance of learning about Russia and its culture. She also holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of St. Thomas.
