Featured Book: The Little Snowgirl, by Carolyn Croll. This beautifully illustrated story offers a sweet retelling of the traditional Russian tale of the snow maiden, or Snegurochka, who you’ll see in the galleries as part of The World of Russian Fairy Tales. Pavel and Caterina make themselves a child out of snow– but what will happen when the snowchild comes to life? Join us for a wintery tale with a happy ending.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
