Virtual Tour with the Curator
Tuesday, September 29 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pmFREE
Please note: This event is not a live event at The Museum of Russian Art. Zoom is a virtual (via computer) meeting place, where the tour will be conducted.
The Museum of Russian Art is pleased to present an exclusive virtual look at the exhibition Leaders and the Masses: Mega Paintings from Soviet Ukraine with TMORA’s Chief Curator, Dr. Masha Zavialova.
This tour will discuss the exhibition’s title Leaders and the Masses and how it is reflected in the works on display. Humanity has always been puzzled by the question – Who makes history: leaders or people? These paintings from Soviet Ukraine conceal a coherent concept of what makes history tick that we will try to tease out from them during the tour. There will be an opportunity for Q&A following the tour.
This virtual tour will be presented via Zoom*. FREE. Please register in advance.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
