TMORA 20th Anniversary Legacy Dinner

Saturday, September 10 from 6:30 pm - 10:30 pm

The evening will begin with cocktails and a beautifully-curated silent auction in the Mezzanine Gallery of the Museum, followed by an intimate dinner in the Main Gallery where guests will be treated to a spotlight performance of Skylark Opera Theatre’s Eugene Onegin and a live auction with show-stopping travel destinations.

The Museum of Russian Art 20th Anniversary Legacy Dinner raises essential support for the Museum and its mission of promoting cultural understanding through exhibitions and programming. Unfolding TMORA’s story over the last 20 years, the Museum acknowledges all those who have contributed to its successful emergence, survival and growth, despite economic crises, pandemics, and wars. TMORA has become part of Minnesota’s rich cultural fabric and a source of visual, experiential knowledge about the vast and often troubled region that was the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union, now existing as fifteen independent countries. TMORA also presents a chance to learn more about the diverse cultures of our fellow Minnesotans, immigrants from the region — some  arriving recently to escape the perils of Putin’s regime. The mission of TMORA is impactful, and we look forward to continuing this important work.

In honor of the 20th anniversary, the Robert J. Brokop Trust will match $100,000 in proceeds from the silent auction, live auction, and donations to the event.  If you’re not able to attend the event on September 10, this presents a fantastic opportunity for you to double the impact of your support for TMORA during this momentous occasion!
