A Presentation by William Craft Brumfield

For some three decades, scholar and author William Craft Brumfield has researched and photographed the architectural heritage of the Russian North, one of the planet’s most beautiful yet challenging regions. Richly illustrated, the lecture will explore the area’s remarkable beauty as well as some of its tragic losses over the past decade. The lecture will be followed by a signing of his recent book Architecture at the End of the Earth: Photographing the Russian North
