Featured Book: Kornei Chukovsky’s Telephone by Jamey Gambrell, illustrated by Vladimir Radunsky.
In this playful book, adapted from a classic nonsense poem by the beloved Russian children’s author Kornei Chukovsky, the telephone rings and rings and rings! From doves wanting gloves to baboons needing spoons, animal after animal calls– until the harried, hapless hero is completely at his wits’ end.
