As GARY EICHTEN engages NICK HAYES
in a discussion on “Russia in the Putin and Post-Putin Era”
If Russian President Vladimir Putin runs for and wins a fourth term, he will leave the office having served twenty years and longer than any Russian leader since Stalin. What explains his broad base of support and popularity and the weakness of his opposition? The key factor lies in support for his foreign policy. This suggest, moreover, that Putin’s eventual successor will continue the course set by Putin in international affairs.
Thursday, May 26th at 6:30 p.m.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
