Known both as a fearsome witch and a wise woman, Baba Yaga’s character embodies a fascinating dichotomy in Slavic folklore: she is both a figure of terror and a source of wisdom. On this special evening, Dr. Zavialova will bring Baba Yaga’s mythology to life, weaving together stories that reveal her complex role in folklore and the generations of tales that have kept her legend alive.
