Robert Barsky is the author of biographies of Noam Chomsky and Zellig Harris, law books about refugees and undocumented migrants, and scholarly books about language theory. His real passions, however, are for literature and the world of Fabergé, and he combines both in his debut novel about a fabulous Fabergé restaurant in the Wall Street district of New York City. Hatched is a novel that contains forgery, lust, murder, and Judas’s betrayal, all set against a backdrop of lavish creations concocted by a brilliant chef who is obsessed by Karl Fabergé. Barsky serves up passion and delectable egg recipes through the adventures of characters who are changing the world, one egg at a time.
