Craft Workshop: Geometric Abstraction in Fabric Patterns with Artist Becka Rahn

Thursday, April 24 from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

$35 – $40

In this class inspired by Geometric Abstraction, now on view in the Mezzanine Gallery, you’ll get a taste of creating your own custom fabric designs from start to finish. No drawing skills are needed; we’ll work from a paper collage made of tissue paper and your creative interpretations of the patterns and colors in the gallery. Using a digital kaleidoscope tool, we’ll virtually cut and repeat your design to make a repeating geometric pattern. Each student will get a swatch of their design printed on fabric (mailed to you after class). All materials are included with your ticket.

Thursday, April 24 | 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM | Main Gallery
Doors open at 5:30 PM. Cost is $35 for members, $40 for non-members. Fee includes all materials, instruction, and gallery admission.
