Beginning Russian Language Classes (via Zoom): Fall Session – Evening

The Museum of Russian Art is pleased to present Beginning Russian Language classes taught by Elena Epshteyn.  

Join us via Zoom for our Fall Session of Beginner’s Russian Language Classes. Fall classes will start on September 9 and will go for 10 consecutive weeks.  Fall Session – Evening will consist of 10 classes on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 – 7:30 pm, September 9 – November 11, 2020.  (Fall Session – Morning is an identical course offered on Wednesday mornings. Beginner’s level starts with learning the Russian alphabet and phonetics, as well as the development of basic reading skills.  It provides the knowledge of basic grammar patterns and vocabulary, covering essential aspects of everyday life, such as meeting people, getting around the city, shopping, visiting restaurants, using transportation, expressing intentions, speaking by phone, and communicating in social media. The course will enable students to communicate and be understood in a variety of situations.

Class size will be limited to 10 students.

Tuition: $250 for Non-Members, $225 for TMORA Members

Elena Epshteyn was born in the USSR and graduated from the Belarusian State University with a degree in Russian Language and Literature. After she moved to the US, she taught at North Hennepin Community College, Russian school Klassika as well as privately. Besides focusing on Russian Grammar, she emphasizes the importance of learning about Russia and its culture. She also holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of St. Thomas.
