Dr. Curt Lund, design historian and assistant professor at Hamline University, shares an in-depth look at both men’s photographic legacies, centering on works from both current exhibitions — Alexey Brodovitch: Designer of the Avant-Garde and E.O. Hoppé and the Ballets Russes — and places them in context within a broader history of 20th century ballet photography in the United States and Europe during this virtual presentation.
