She will share excerpts that weave a quirky sense of destiny into family tales of kidnapping, revenge and romance in the east-west encounter of the 19th century Caucasus.
Katya Chavchavadze Redpath, originally from Washington, D.C., is a writer, mother and organic farmer, dividing her time between New York City and Vermont.
