The Museum of Russian Art is pleased to present ROMARIO – an indie rock band from the Ural Mountains that has been taking the Russian music scene by storm.
Since releasing its first album in 2010, which was recorded with well-known Russian rock musicians, Romario has become highly sought-after and popular among the connoisseurs of great rock rhythms, Beatles-esque harmonies, and catchy lyrics. Andrey Makarevich, an icon of the Russian rock music scene and founder of the band “Time Machine,” has performed with Romario. He states – “Their music is reminiscent of another era. Romario’s approach to songwriting and music-making reminds me of the best days from the late 70’s. Romario is bringing back those vibrations that make us experience those golden days and that almost seemed lost in today’s times.” Today, Romario consists of four people – two acoustic guitars, bass guitar and Cajon. www.romarioband.ru On their first tour through the USA, don’t miss their only concert in Minnesota! The beautiful main gallery of The Museum of Russian Art will provide a perfect setting for this intimate, acoustic performance. We hope you’ll join us. |
