Mask Painting Workshop For Children (and Now Adults)

 

The Museum of Russian Art offers Mask Painting Workshop For Children on Saturday, January 11th. Click ‘read more’ for information on how to register your child.

TWO CLASSES:

10:30 am: for ages 6 to 8 – Click here to register. SOLD OUT

(one hour classes)

$10.00 per participant

In conjunction with Around the Tree; Holiday Traditions from the Soviet Era, featuring Russian masks used to celebrate the New Year during the Soviet era, the Museum is offering a Mask Painting Workshop. Each class is limited to 24 participants.

Each participant will paint one mask from a group of five animal designs. Tempera paint and brushes are included, plus two complementary adult passes to the Museum. Please dress to paint! There will also be a short story time included.

Coffee and a light refreshment will be served.

The workshops will be held at the Mayflower Church in the lower level.
