Russkiy Salon: Select Favorites and Newly Revealed Works

Russkiy Salon features some of the most remarkable and popular paintings exhibited at TMORA over the past six years. This unique exhibition allows art-lovers the opportunity to reacquaint themselves with the familiar masterpieces. Approximately 54 paintings will be on view including works such as the beloved Milkmaids, Novella, by Nikolai N. Baskakov, the dramatic and evocative Unmade Bed by Mai Dantsig, and many other outstanding works of 20th century Russian art. The exhibition will also include pieces that have not been previously displayed. Among them is an epic work by the eminent Soviet artist Yuri Pimenov First of May Celebration.

Other paintings included in the exhibition include notable works by Meer (Mark) Moiseevich Akselrod, Sergei Parmenovich Balzamov, Nikolai Petrovich Bogdanov-Belski, Yakov Ivanovich Brovar, Efim Mikhailovich Cheptsov, Daniil Yakovlevich Cherkes, Nikolai Nikolaevich Danilin, Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Deineka, Nikolai Dmitrievich Dmitriev-Orenburgsky, L. Dubovik, Vyacheslav Andreevich Fedorov, Petr Geller, Gabriil Nikitich Gorelov, Aleksei Mikhailovich Gritsai, Aristarkh Vasilevich Lentulov, Filipp A. Malyavin, Anatoli Koronatovich Nakaryakov, Amshei Markovich Nyurenberg, Serafim Aleksandrovich Pavlovski, Viktor Nikolaevich Perelman, Veniamin Borisovich Polyatski, Viktor Efimovich Popkov, Viktor Reikhet, Semen Rotnitski, Georgi Iosifovich Rublev, Georgi Georgievich Ryazhski, Vladimir Aleksandrovich Serov, Aleksandr Vasilevich Shevchenko, Fedot Vasilevich Sychkov, Andrei Tutunov, Zinaida Vladimirovna Volkovinskaya, Vasili Nikolaevich Yakovlev, Olga Dmitrievna Yanovskaya and Leonid Pavlovich Zusman.
